The Challenge Of The BowDearest Penelope takes Odysseus's bow out to challenge the man for her hand in marriage. The men have been taking recognition of Odysseus not being there at Ithaca and to win Penelope's heart. She announces to the men that whoever strings the arrow and shoot strait thru twelve axes will marry her. She knows that the task will be impossible for the men to do since her husband, Odysseus, is the only mortal who can do such a task. As he is disguised he sees who is loyal to him or not.
